The Play Gym

A stage-based play gym designed to support a full year of active, sensory exploration from birth.

Lovevery's The Play Gym combines an activity mat, wooden play gym and five Developmental Zones designed to offer different ways for babies to explore as their interests and abilities change through the first year.

From high-contrast visual exploration and reaching to tummy time, sensory discovery and increasingly independent play, the design gives babies an active role in interacting with their environment. The Developmental Zones can be revealed or concealed to adjust the amount and type of stimulation available during play.

A Play Space Cover extends the design beyond early activity-gym use, while the included Play Guide gives caregivers stage-based ideas for using the gym as their baby develops.

Why it stands out

• Designed from birth: Created for stage-based play throughout baby's first year and beyond.
• Five Developmental Zones: Different areas of the mat provide varied opportunities for sensory and physical exploration.
• Active play: Designed around reaching, looking, touching, tummy time and other hands-on interaction rather than electronic entertainment.
• Adapts over time: Different features can be introduced as baby's interests and abilities develop.
• Play Space Cover: Extends the gym into a covered play space for continued use.
• OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100: The Activity Mat is identified by Lovevery as OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified under certificate number 21.HCN.45981.
